ZEHRA Clinic invites you to meet the Medical Director and Chief Surgeon Dr. Jay Willner, MD, FACOG. Dr.Willner graduated in 1986 from University of the State of New York with his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and in 1990 received his board certification form the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). He is also a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG). Before completing medical school Dr. Willner served from 1973-1985 in the United States Army Reserve (USAR). He was Chief Resident then Clinical Instructor in the Bronx, New York. Through the years Dr.Willner was on the faculty at several colleges and medical schools. Dr.Willner has also served on many hospital committees and is a member of numerous professional organizations. Dr. Willner has been performing cosmetic procedures since 1990. He is trained in Advanced Liposuction Surgery. He was proud to bring his Advanced Liposuction Surgery skills to the Greater Tampa area in 2007. At that time he performed Liposculpting using the Vaser; which uses ultrasound technology; and Smart Lipo. In 2009 he took the opportunity to use a new FDA approved technology called the SmartLipo MPX. This technology uses two lasers to destroy the fat and tighten the skin, thus eliminating the need to combine Vaser and the outdated version of SmartLipo.
